New Delhi: We have all been Kapil Sharma fans and his brand of comedy on television. Just as his new show is about to kick-off on April 23, here's the latest bit of news around it. It has been reported that 'Bigg Boss 9' contestant Rochelle Rao will join the show as well.


Roch was a fairly popular contestant in the show, especially because of her 'tooti-footi' Hindi and oh-so-handsome boyfriend Keith Sequeira. According to DNA, Rochelle is the latest one to join Kapil's gang of gagsters. Interestingly, 'Bigg Boss' is aired on Colors, the same channel which apparently had a fallout with Kapil.

Giving rest to all the speculations, Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan shoots for the promo of 'The Kapil Sharma show'. SRK, who has kick started the promotion of his upcoming film Fan will appear in the first episode. According to an entertainment portal, SRK and Kapil shared an amazing camaraderie and left everyone in splits of laughter. The shot for the promo at Filmcity, Mumbai and the shoot lasted for two hours.

The show which will make its debut on Sony Entertainment Television on April 23, 2016 will be a Live concert. The episode would be a recording of a live show to be held at Delhi's Siri fort on April 11, 2016. It will feature Shah Rukh Khan and Kapil Sharma. According to reports in the media, SRK will be seen at his best on the show. To entertain the audience, SRK will sing, dance and poke fun at rivals.

Live recording for Kapil Sharma show with Shah Rukh Khan

The Kapil Sharma Show will make its debut on Sony Entertainment on April 23 with a very special episode. The episode would be a recording of a live show to be held in Delhi on April 11 at Siri Fort featuring Kapil Sharma and his team on stage with Shah Rukh Khan.

Says a source from Kapil's team, "We wanted the first episode to be really special. It had to be a beginning that would make all the fans of Comedy Night With Kapil sit up. Kapil approached Shah Rukh to do a live concert in Delhi. He agreed to it. A date was worked out. Delhites would see Shah Rukh and Kapil live on stage on April 11. This will be our inaugural episode of The Kapil Sharma Show."


Sources say Shah Rukh and Kapil will be "singing dancing and poking fun at rivals" live on stage. Apparently the channel has agreed to telecast this live event unexpunged, unedited. For the second episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Tiger Shroff and Shradha Kapoor will be appearing to promote their film Baaghi.

Apparently many stars who would be appearing on Kapil Sharma's show would be steering away from Krushna Abhishek and his team's show Comedy Nights Live.

Rapper Honey Singh, who was out of limelight for over one-and-a-half-years due to bipolar disorder, seems to be making up for the lost time.

 If recent reports are to be believed, the musician-singer has been invited by Kapil Sharma for his new show on Sony TV.

If all goes well, Honey Singh will be part of the third episode of The Kapil Sharma Show.

Shah Rukh Khan has already been confirmed for the first episode, to be shot in Delhi on April 1, with the live audience.


Kapil Sharma's new show will most likely also welcome Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur as their guests, in the second episode.


Right now, promotions are on for The Kapil Sharma Show, which is set to premiere on Apil 23, on Sony TV. Kapil Sharma and his team are on multi-city tour these days--they performed in Amritsar (March 5), Bhopal (March 11) and Lucknow (March 16), and their last stop will be Delhi (April 1).

New Delhi: The medium of television has become as powerful as celluloid. For the characters we see everyday leave a lasting impact on our minds, quickly making a space in our favourites' list. One such show happens to be sitcom 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain'.



However, there have been reports floating for sometime over one of the leads from the show Shilpa Shinde aka Angoori Bhabhi of quitting the sitcom over issues with the production house. While all these allegations and counter allegations are going on, the latest bit of good news brimming out is that Shilpa might be seen in 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.


PTI quoted Shilpa as saying, "I am working with Kapil Sharma. The show is more than a film for me. My fans will be very happy to see me on the show as my character will be comic, yet different from what I have done before”.


"I have not signed anything on paper yet, it is mutually decided as of now. The character is a surprise. I decided to do the show because they asked me very respectfully, they are all good actors. In fact, Kapil left a big channel to start his own show and his team did so too. That shows unity," she said.

“Comedy Nights With Kapil” director Rajiv Dhingra is keen to make a Bollywood film with actor-comedian Kapil Sharma.
Rajiv was associated with the popular show since its inception and had directed the first 30 episodes of “Comedy Nights With Kapil” which ran for three years before going off air last month.
“I am planning to make a film with him and we have been in talks. We both are childhood friends so definitely I will work with him. I have an idea which I discussed with Kapil and he had liked it too. It is going to be a light hearted comedy film,” Rajiv told PTI.
“Comedy Nights with Kapil” became one of the most celebrated shows on television with many Bollywood celebrities making an appearance on it. The show, also starring Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti and Sunil Grover, aired its last episode on January 24.
The director says it was “sincere” efforts of the team which made the show a hit.
“We all just wanted to do something new and the result was everybody’s sincere efforts. The show’s success just happened on its own. The team worked really hard for it.
“Kapil is a very hardworking and honest man. He is in the position today because of his work and he deserves it.”
Rajiv is currently elated with the success of his Punjabi film, “Love Punjab” which released last week.
“I am very happy with the film and the business it has done. To be honest, I did not expect such an overwhelming response from the audience. Punjabi cinema is still growing and today we have good directors and actors coming up. It is an exciting phase.”

Kapil Sharma wax statue at Madame Tussauds

According to reports, comedian Kapil Sharma is all set to be immortalised in the form of a wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds.

 After a low phase, a barrage of good news is pouring in for ace comedian Kapil Sharma. The Comedy Nights With Kapil star, who's coming up with his new show--The Kapil Sharma Show after a break of few months, is all set to be immortalised in the form of a wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds, reports The Times of India.

According to reports, the museum team recently met Kapil at Mumbai's JW Marriott. The team has already taken Kapil's pictures, measurement and other details. In fact, the work on Kapil's statue is already underway. If all goes well, it will get ready in six months' time.



So far, only statues of Bollywood personalities such as Amitabh BachchanShah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Hrithik RoshanSalman KhanAishwarya Rai Bachchan, have made it to Madame Tussauds. It is a rare honour for an Indian TV personality, and we are happy for Kapil! Aren't you?




Meanwhile, promotions are in full swing for The Kapil Sharma Show. Kapil and his team are on a multi-city tour these days. They have already covered Amritsar (March 5), Bhopal (March 11) and Lucknow (March 16). The first episode of the highly-awaited show will be shot in Delhi on April 1 with Shah Rukh Khan and a live audience. Starting from April 23, The Kapil Sharma Show will air on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Sony TV.
